Anvaya Vedic Sciences Pvt Ltd (Anvaya) operates the Anvaya platform at useanvaya.com. Dodo Payments is our Merchant of Record (MoR) — the legal seller at checkout, on your card or bank statement, and on statutory tax invoices.
This Refund Policy explains product refund eligibility, usage credits, and how payment-method reversals work when Dodo Payments acts as Merchant of Record.
Anvaya Vedic Sciences Pvt Ltd (Anvaya) offers digital goods through Anvaya: samhita generation, pramāṇa processing, sambandha analyses, question credits, samvāda minutes, muhurta reports, rectification, and similar items described at checkout. Checkout is sold by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record. Delivery is electronic — there is no physical shipment. Because content is generated on demand, our refund rules follow common practice for digital goods: access and fulfillment are immediate once processing starts.
Purchases are non-refundable once generation or fulfillment has started for that SKU. Fulfillment is per product — starting one item does not block refunds on unrelated items that have not yet started.

Checkout surfaces remind you of this policy before you pay. By completing payment, you acknowledge that digital fulfillment may begin immediately for the SKU you purchased.
If you paid by mistake and no fulfillment has started for that SKU — no generation job running, no credits posted to your balance, and no consumed samvāda turns — contact us promptly at support@useanvaya.com from your account email with your transaction reference. We may approve a payment-method reversal at our discretion if the request is genuine and technically reversible through Dodo Payments.
When we approve a refund or goodwill adjustment, we generally issue usage credits to your account rather than cash back to your payment method.
Approved credits appear on Account → Credit Balance (/app/account/credit-balance) and apply automatically at checkout for samhita, sambandha, samvāda questions, and other prepaid SKUs. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and do not expire unless stated at grant time.
We may issue a payment-method reversal instead of credits when required by law, for duplicate charges verified with our Merchant of Record, or when fulfillment never started and a cash reversal is technically feasible.
Transaction history and current balances are visible under Account → Credit Balance and Account → Past transactions. A ledger entry labeled “Refund” or a credit grant indicates an approved adjustment.
When we approve a refund to your original payment method, Dodo Payments processes the reversal as Merchant of Record. This typically posts within 3–5 business days depending on your bank, card issuer, or wallet.
We decide eligibility under this policy; Dodo Payments executes approved reversals to the original payment method. Usage credits (§5) are granted on our platform and are separate from Dodo Payments's payment-rail refunds.
Tax-compliant invoices and official payment receipts are issued by Dodo Payments and include their tax registration details. The purchase summary in Account → Past transactions is for your records only and is not a substitute for Dodo Payments's statutory tax invoice. For official invoices and billing history, use your checkout confirmation email or Dodo Payments's customer portal.
Some products include a limited number of included revision rounds — for example regenerating samhita or sambandha prose after pramāṇa updates or approved corrections Included revisions are part of your purchase, not separate refunds. The number and scope are shown at purchase or in-product.
Paid rectification (birth-time correction) is a separate SKU when not covered by included rounds. Rectification follows the same fulfillment rule: non-refundable once the rectification job has started.
If we fail to deliver a paid product due to a verified platform error (for example payment captured but no credits granted, or generation failed without recovery after a reasonable period), we will fix the delivery, issue usage credits, or — where appropriate — request a payment-method reversal through Dodo Payments. Contact support with your transaction ID and screenshots if helpful.
Duplicate charges caused by a technical error will be reversed once verified with Dodo Payments and our ledger. Allow a few business days for the reversal to post to your statement.
Please contact us at support@useanvaya.com before initiating a chargeback so we can investigate delivery and usage. Bad-faith chargebacks on fulfilled digital goods may result in account closure where permitted by law.
Card-network chargebacks and payment disputes are handled by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record. Our no-refund policy does not prevent your bank from opening a dispute; card-network rules govern the outcome.
Tax-compliant invoices and official payment receipts are issued by Dodo Payments and include their tax registration details. Prices may exclude applicable taxes; GST or other taxes may appear at checkout or on your Dodo Payments invoice where required. When a payment-method reversal is issued, it generally returns the amount paid including taxes collected on that transaction. Usage credits are denominated in product value, not as a cash tax refund.
The purchase summary in Account → Past transactions is for your records only and is not a substitute for Dodo Payments's statutory tax invoice. Download purchase summaries from Account → Past transactions when available.
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law (including in India). Where law requires a cash refund, we will comply.
